Cockle Creek
Cockle Creek
Cockle Creek is as far as the road goes on the mainland of Tasmania.
It is named because of the large number of cockles(pippies) that are found in the sand
on the beach.
Cockle Creek flows into the bay near the National Park which is important for bush walking.
There are several buildings that are used during holiday times by owners.
